This is Maria.
She sits in front of the Angelicum and begs every day. She chats with the students and begs from them too, with her unique charm. When Rob said we had nothing to give her but asked her to pray for us, I think she said she would be able to pray if we gave her something :-o
But we can pray for her anyway.

Mother of Perpetual Help
This is the original icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
We ducked inside the church as we waited for the Corpus Christi procession.
Santa Croce in Gerusalemme
We climbed the steps Jesus climbed to Pontius Pilate, on our knees, praying for all of you, and all those who asked our prayers.
Finally, Il Gesu
Where St Ignatius is buried, and there is a relic of St Francis Xavier's arm/hand.
We prayed for all of you there!
