Copying and pasting my email:
On their way up from Chicago Friday morning, my sister and her 4 children were in a serious accident. My sister, Anne Lorang, is in the ICU in St Joseph with closed head trauma.
My 17 year old niece, Aimee, was killed. The other children (who are like my own!) are staying with us for now, while her husband, Tom, remains with Anne.
My sister is not yet coherent enough to communicate, so she still does not know that her daughter did not survive.
Meanwhile, I ask your prayers for our family during this very difficult time.
Thank you all for the generous prayers I know you will offer.

I am so sorry! We will be praying for everyone!

Aimee's Aunt,
Aimee and Lizzie were one of our favorite students and castmembers in various plays I directed them in at our Lemont and Tinley Park theaters. All their friends at Covered Bridge Children's Theatres are grieving and praying for the family, especially Aimee. Please contact me at MyCoveredBridge@aol.com with requests for anything the family needs and details about funeral arrangements.
This is such a sad time for everyone. My heart goes out to you and your family.
We will always love you Aimee and you'll forever be in our hearts.

Aimee's Aunt,
I am terribly sorry about your loss, Aimee was a good friend of mine, she played my daughter in a play and she was very, very talented. My grief goes out to Lizzie, too, I hope she's alright as well, as I have worked with her too. This news made me very depressed so if you or your family needs any help with anything please contact me and I will be more than happy to help.
Aimee, you were amazing, you knew my lines better than I did most of the time and my prayers are always with you.
Love, Katie

I am heartsick for the Lorang family. I worked at Homer Library where Aimee and Lizzie (they were always a pair) were members of the youth group. I had many ocassions to work with them. They were both always willing to volunteer their time, always smiling. That is what I will remember most, Aimee always had a smile on her face, she will be missed at the library. My prayers are with the entire family.
